My presence in the hospital was short for the time of the meeting with the consultant. However, from the time I got in to the time I left, my experience with staff there was positive.

Fantastic care from start to finished just wish my local hospital was up to this standard - I have so much confidence in the team at Derby that I am now being referred there for another surgical matter

Staff and my surgeon were amazing. The hospital is very clean and it continues to protect patients with Ppe. I absolutely love this hospital

I was put in a few different wards before and after my operation and I cant praise the staff enough. They do a wonderful job and I would love to go back to the wards and see them all to thank them but I cant cos of the coronavirus.
One day I will be able to visit hopefully but in the meantime thank you to everyone on the third floor. My hero Mr Serif Awad did my op. The anaesthetists are heros as well

The nurses were great at the Gastroenterology department very professional and compassionate. Shame about the Doctor.

The Royal Derby is an outstanding hospital . From.the minute you walk in the door all members of staff, volunteers etc. are very polite and helpful.
Nothing can improve. They have looked after and made better several members of my family and cant fault them.

Dr Persic and her Radiotherapy team at the Royal Derby Hospital have provided me with exceptional service and care over the last 3 months. She and her team make everyone so welcome that during treatment the atmosphere is relaxing and comforting and feels like a 'family'. They answer any question you have clearly and professionally and provide reassurance if you have concerns about anything. Such a wonderful doctor and staff I cannot hesitate to recommend them.

No complaints in the fact I was monitored well after my operation but asked several times if I could have some antihistamine as I had a lot of itching due to the spinal I had which they explained could happen but it was very irritating.
I was told several times on asking “yes we will get you some” which never came. I appreciate it’s a busy ward but they shouldn’t say they will get you some if they have no intention in doing so.
Also felt rushed off the morning after the operation into the discharged lounge.
